FSC Rater Support - How to Enable Automatic Update

How Does It Work?
Your system will only update when there is a newer version of data available. Therefore, it is recommended that your computer be left on every night. Alternately, you may leave the computer running overnight when you receive an email notice that an update is available.

Automatic Update Notes and Requirements:

• The computer that has been activated for the Automatic Update feature must be left running overnight. .

• An Internet connection must be available at all times.

• Only 1 computer needs to have the Automatic Update feature enabled if FSC Rater is installed over a network.

• Shut down FSC Rater on every computer in the office. The Automatic Update feature will not work if FSC Rater is open.

Note: Although we are providing this feature, we want to remind our customers that it is still the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the update was successful. Rate discrepancies due to the failure of the Auto Update feature will not be covered under the FSC Personal LInes Rate Guarantee.
