The Hartford Announces Quote-to-Issue Bridge

With Fiserv FSC

 

 

HARTFORD, Conn. /AGOURA HILLS, CA –  The Hartford Financial Services Group (NYSE:HIG) has taken another step toward reducing duplicate entry for agents, introducing a bridge to enable users of Fiserv FSC’s WinFSC Comparative Rater to integrate their data directly to The Hartford’s Quote-to-Issue (QTI) Internet rating product.  After a successful pilot, the bridge was introduced this month in California and Arizona.

 

Based on ACORD XML standards, the new bridge enables straight-through processing for auto insurance from Fiserv FSC’s WinFSC comparative rating product.  Agents involved in The Hartford’s pilot report they are pleased with the time savings associated with the new bridge.

 

"Customers have come to expect an immediate response from an Internet rating product," said George Thacker, senior vice president, personal insurance marketing at The Hartford. “The combination of the WinFSC Bridge and QTI makes it easier and faster for agents to issue the policy.”
